Default movement and action keys
Hold Up Arrow to accelerate forward. Press Down Arrow to brake, then keep holding it to drive in reverse.
Left Arrow leans backward and Right Arrow leans forward. Use leaning to help a two-wheeled vehicle move over obstacles.
Space, Shift, and Ctrl perform special actions that depend on your character, whether you chose that character or the level creator selected it for you.
Character-specific actions

- Press Space to release the magnet, Shift to raise it, and Ctrl to lower it.
- How do Wheelchair Guy's action keys work?
- Use Shift and Ctrl to rotate Wheelchair Guy's jet, and press Space to fire it.
- What does Space do for Lawnmower Man?
- Press Space to jump with Lawnmower Man. He can also mow over people and some objects.
- How do I charge Pogostick Man's bounce?
- Hold Space to charge a larger bounce. Use Shift and Ctrl to change Pogostick Man's posture.
Customize or restore your bindings
- Where can I change the keyboard controls?
- Open Options, then Customise Controls. Map each key individually. Your changes are saved on the computer where you make them.
- How do I undo unwanted key changes?
- Use the Restore Defaults button in the control settings to return to the original key bindings.
